a total of 1,778 vehicles were produced from 1942-44, thereby making it
a "production" vehicle. Under the current rules, it would be given a
40/3 rating because it carried a 75mm gun, but only had 45mm of armor.
We don't distinguish between "howitzer" and "gun", because 100 years of
tank design has resulted in a dizzying number of incomparable types of
weapons and rounds.
