Chris,
           When I separated the turret from the deck there was very little 
debris . Surprising, but mostly splatter and broken shells. Regarding wear, 
the hard glides used before were wearing down, not the deck. Both the deck 
and the bottom of the turret are coated with resin. So I do not see that 
being a concern. I'll keep track of how they function with the debris, but 
given that 3 years of battle produced not much in the way of mess I think 
these should work out very well. If not, Santa sent spares.  LOL.
