i was looking at a site here i bought some fiber glass cloth before and was looking to order more 2.5 oz as it'll take corners with no problem but saw some 4 oz cloth so i inquired about it. they told me it doesn't take corners as well but suggested to use 6 or 10 oz boating cloth as it takes corners and curves just as good as the regular 2.5 oz cloth. their reply: it is the thread count. the regular 4 oz cloth has a very high thread count, this makes it very smooth, but also very stiff. the six and ten ounce have low thread counts, they are called boating cloth because they are used in boat making, and they conform to corners well, and wet out very well. their web site is _www.fiberglasssite.com_ (http://www.fiberglasssite.com) for anyone that might be interested chirs
