when you say strengthened the suspension, do you mean that the vehicle can
hold more weight or that you made the suspension itself more secure
preventing it from moving about when the vehicle is weighed down?

from what i see, is this a 2 wheel drive vehicle or 4 x 4?

other wise it's starting to look interesting

News from the FTF after this winter build -

With T055 , T068 & T088 now fitted with NERF capability, Attention is
moved to the FOX.

Even at 12v the FOX moves along quite quickly ( 4-5 MPH at a guess ). Its
plastic framework is lightweight yet rugged enough to cope with the
demands . I have been driving with a 12ah SLA but I see no reason not to use
5ah
in future since I have plenty of them.
I`ll do a video next week of its performance on grass @12v then @18v.

1, The first picture shows the basic frame that one of my students donated
almost a year ago. the rc was missing, the steering servo duff , the
suspension system in a bad way & the battery was shot.

2, Second picture - I positioned a new rc + turning servo and strengthened
the suspension. that mid section takes a 12ah SLA perfectly.

3, I can now lazer cut (almost) any shape I can dream up so all the pieces
that make this shape are on file so I can make as many as I require. the
fox has a large section between the wheels ( not built yet ) where I`ll
place the battery's , keeping the ctr of gravity as low as possible.

4, With RC gear fitted this machine drives very nicely , I can see this
FOX has the possibility at making a trip to MAG land one day.

Next the turret.
