"I do like your shiny. what do plan on casting?"

This is a "spin casting" machine with a melting furnace (the Vulcanizer is
not far). The 9" or 12" molds can cast Pewter or Zinc pieces that are
fairly small, but still useful for our purpose. For example, it will work
GREAT for the Sherman duckbills (see picture above, plastic parts above,
Pewter below). We may have figured out the track pad (T51 type), but the
duckbills need to be as strong.

It also allows FOA to cast smaller accessory parts that will not be blown
away by a Paintball hit! The larger resin parts will withstand Paintball
hits.

This type of equipment is used for Jewelry or parts of up to about 3" in
length. We could make the pads of the Sherman too, but I have an issue with
weight. I received the Vantek Sherman tracks from China, and they are
grossly under-sized but are functional. I know it's not big deal for the RC
Tank Combat crowd, as accuracy is not their drive. But it is bid deal to
FOA. We want accuracy AND functionality! Another reason the $1k tank is not
realistic.

Always a dreamer!
