I agree - excellent movie plot = B (predictable and trite in spots) directing = B (some gratuitous gore, eyeballs are not attached to facial skin) acting = B+ (Pitt = B+, Norman = C, Grady = B-, Bible = B+, Trini = A+) interior tank scenes = A- (occasionally looked spacious) exterior tank scenes = A+ (even damaged tanks looked authentic) They specifically showed a close-up of the Tiger track and road wheels while moving so that you knew it was the Bovington Tiger and not a fake T-34 dressed like a Tiger as used in "Kelly's Heroes" and "Saving Private Ryan". To paraphrase the title of a hit song by the Contours and J. Geils Band - "First I Look at the Road Wheels" - during tank movies My only negative comment is that they did not show any Hetzers.
