last Sunday in the adds there was a paper for "5 Below" and in it there was the "Selfie Go Stick" and it looked like a winner for what i need to finish those pill boxes. i went in last week and they were all sold out but was told to come back in today as they get a truck on Mondays, so tonight i went down and they had them hanging at the registers. i took one out for the box (explaining to the cashier why) that i wanted to make sure it would handle my Nokia Windows phone (for camera use only), so she showed me how it worked (it was spring loaded) and it holds my phone just right, so i bought 2 (will be going back and buying more in the coming weeks) to start working with. it's a shame that i have to cut off them nice long telescopic extension pole, but it has to go (right into the new extra parts stash). the section that is attached to the holder is help on by 8 pressed in dimples (or what ever you want to call them) and i have to see if i can use standard brass or copper to slip in place and then drill and mount it to a base plate attached to the bottom of the pill boxes. once i get that done i'll be able to get make large enough view ports as to not obscure the cameras view. now once i get these done and bring them to battles, any that i don't have a phone (camera) of my own in, anyone else is free to put theirs in for the battle. besides that i am starting to look at headphones with mic's so i can cut off the headphones and mount the mic externally for better sound and plug it into my phone/camera but i am not sure if i can just cut them off just above the mic and have them still work as they aren't free to toy with. chris
