Hello -

I discovered a couple of great products that make tank wiring a lot easier.
You may already know about these. The first one is a soldering aid that
holds wire or connectors in place for soldering. I've tried some different
alternatives for this, including that jig with articulated alligator clips.
This little thing is the best by far. It's the best $8 tool I ever bought !

I just started using this Dean's Ultra Wire and it's great ! I used to just
go to Home Depot for wire, but no more. This stuff is much flexible and
easier to use. It's not particularly cheap, but you don't really need a lot
of it.

Hobby King has general purpose silicon wire, which is probably identical to
the Ultra Wire. They have a better selection and prices, but I can run down
to the hobby store for the Ultra Wire.
