I can tell you much about the 1/6th scale market. It was very impressive before 2007. S.A.G (Sixth Army Group http://www.sixtharmygroup.com/forums/ ) is a good example. It used to have hundreds of posts each day, while now, it's about 2 to 3.
The 1/6th scale market has been depressed since the recession, including major players like DiD and Dragon Model limiting their new releases dramatically. They used to have new figures every month. They may release a few each year. Dragon is starting to "feel the market" right now with some re-releases. The Dragon 75048 Sherman Firefly has been on hold for now 3 years. 21th Century has disappeared. Most major players in this industry have stepped out or drawn out. ArmorTek has a few releases, mostly in ValuePack, but no major tank releases unless it's a re-release of their venerable best sellers. The focus at this time is in the 1/16 scale market with some amazing releases by Trumpeter, Tamiya, and other Chinese companies Loic http://www.Fieldofarmortanks.com -- -- You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
