The idea of using a single piece block routed to make the teeths could
probably work!!.... With a lot of effort and a lot of dust!

If you got a single centered wheel (just like in my SU-76), the teeth
really need to be super strong because of the tendency of the track to roll
on the roadwheel on uneven terrain breacking the teeth...

For the length recommanded, I can simply say as tall as you can possibly
do!!!! The taller the better the track will stay at it's place.... On my
SU-76 they are 1inch and need a lot of tension to stay in place with the
working suspension moving arround and if more then 3 in a row got
broken(like in the last summer battles) the track will trow off easely in
fast turn....!

Tall and very strong teeths are the ways to go!!
