LC Policy Statements for RDA Test:

The one which will cause us the most editorial work may be:

"1.10.2 Capitalization LC practice for Alternative (2nd): Accept data
derived from digital sources (e.g., ONIX data for CIP resources)."
Our experience is that this will not only supply non standard
capitalization, but will often supply information which differs for the
published item.

The different punctuation for authority and bibliographic record
access points in 1.7.1 will be impossible for systems which have only
the authority record RSN (001) in bibliographic access fields, with
the authority form substituted on display. Our former printed book
catalogue program also functioned that way.

It is good that in 1.7.5 for signs and symbols not on the keyboard, LC
has information supplied in brackets where needed, contrary to
mistakes, etc.

Some provisions are complete in themselves, but many simply say "Apply
the alternative" or some such, requiring a double look up. "Apply
the alternative to ..." would have been more helpful.
