In the recent list of $e relationship terms I posted, I suggested alternate terms for those I considered too long, or which I felt would not be understood. Based on the $4 cide definitions, I've changed one alternate suggestion:
praeses [consider thesis adviser] I doubt many people would know "praeses", and the code is defined as "thesis adviser", not faculty adviser as I originally suggested. While our standards are in a growing state of conflict, we should still be as consistent as possible. __ __ J.
