Aren't the RDA terms plus the MARC codes redundant? Would you want an
ILS to display both the term and the translation of the code?
Duspllaying the code is meaningless.
If your ILS can handle the codes, then codes only it seems to me; if
not, then terms only. Why should we have to program to suppress one
or the other; we already have to suppress the $2 code.
This redundancy does not seem to take into account what happens at the
OPAC.
