What is this M&D/Updates/.../iTunes_____________.rtf file? Are there
really a lot of weird characters in it? After a little manual
translating they look possibly Japanese to me :)

BTW after reading a little bit about unicode I realize that some of
what I was saying earlier may not have made any sense. I suppose to
do all this stuff theoretically right rdiff-backup needs to become
unicode aware, and also needs to test the filesystem to see what kind
of unicode encoding is supported. But I think we can put that off for
a while.
