In Debian-edu/Skolelinux we uses rdiff-backup for backup purposes. We
have a framework on top (called slbackup), that also has it's bug, but
what happens is that we have some users that create _very_ long names
for folders and names, even with spaces and characters outside normal
US-charset.

At some point, one of the folders containing the name long name was
removed, and then tho whole backup fails.
The problem is that the only fix we know of is to move the old set
aside, and then start over again.
