Does rdiff-backup provide capabilities on the order of 'rsync --progress'
and/or 'rsync --partial'?
I have yet to find anything. Also, 'rdiff-backup -v6' shows some things
that are close (the list of files getting mirrored with the latest sync)
but doesn't show the progress of each file, the percent of files completed
in the sync, and it shows a lot of other stuff for which I have little
interested.
I'm basically trying to get rdiff-backup to look like execution of:
rsync -Pav <source> <destintation>
if I can. Alas, this is not required, just a luxury to make my
rsync-to-diff-backup transition more comfortable for me.
For what it's worth, this may be useful for the potential hoard of
yet-to-swtich-to-rdiff-backup rsync users...unless the hoard has already
switched and is perfectly happy?
Please pardon me if my questions (this one an the one in my previous email)
are FAQs.
