Dear rdiff-backup people,
it's just a quirk I've noticed several times - just for the sake of it,
I use something like
watch -n 300 "rdiff-backup <source> <destination>"
for some source directories. That way, I get a huge amount of increments...
...but when I do
rdiff-backup-statistics <destination> > stat_file.txt
the last lines are
...
...
Processing statistics from session 1478 of 1484
Processing statistics from session 1479 of 1484
Processing statistics from session 1480 of 1484
Processing statistics from session 1481 of 1484
Processing statistics from session 1482 of 1484
Processing statistics from session 1483 of 1484
Processing statistics from session 1484 of 1484
Session statistics:
with zillions of
"/media/username/Backup 128
GB/Desktop/rdiff-backup-data/session_statistics.2017-01-31T13:01:46+01:00.data"
being dumped to the terminal windows.
Is this a bug, or is this a feature? ;)
