That's a good concrete suggestion that I can act on. I'm going to start working on the BuildingOnWindows and BuildingOnLinux pages on the wiki: http://code.google.com/p/rdkit/wiki/BuildingOnWindows and http://code.google.com/p/rdkit/wiki/BuildingOnLinux to try and get the instructions as clear and explicit as possible. If interested parties could keep an eye on things and let me know how things look, we can iterate to something that works. Since it doesn't look like the google code wiki lets you monitor pages, send me email if you'd like to have this operate in "push" mode (e.g. I'll send you email when I make changes).
