Hi all,

I'm having trouble compiling the 2009Q1 release on windows. The problem is that there's no error message, the compile just seems to stop. The last few lines are:

common.copy c:\RDKit\External\vflib-2.0\lib\libvf.lib
c:\RDKit\External\vflib-2.0\bin\msvc-9.0express\release\link-static\threading-mu
lti\libvf.lib
       1 file(s) copied.
common.mkdir GraphMol\SmilesParse\bin
common.mkdir GraphMol\SmilesParse\bin\msvc-9.0express
common.mkdir GraphMol\SmilesParse\bin\msvc-9.0express\release
common.mkdir GraphMol\SmilesParse\bin\msvc-9.0express\release\link-static
common.mkdir GraphMol\SmilesParse\bin\msvc-9.0express\release\link-static\threading-multi

It gets stuck here indefinitely as far as I can tell (it's been left overnight). It's not a one off either, I've tried removing everything and starting again from scratch and its always the same place it gets stuck.

I'm using the Q1 release, boost 1.38 and python 2.5. I'm not using cygwin, just the windows command line, but I have succeeded with compiling this way before. Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Pete
