Dear all, I'd like to do the Q3 release sometime in the next couple of weeks. I think the code is in reasonable shape at the moment to do the release. If there are outstanding bugs or concerns people have, please let me know.
There is one outstanding question: thanks to some nice work from Riccardo Vianello, there is now a CMake-based build system for the RDKit. This is a bit more straightforward than the bjam-based one currently used. The cmake build system is currently on a branch and needs some more testing before it can be considered stable, but it may be useful as is. The question is: should I merge these changes onto the trunk before the Q3 release so that the beta-level support is there or would it be better to wait for the Q4 release when the system is "stable"? -greg
