Hi Tim,

This error is due to a bad interaction between ubuntu (probably actually
debian) and CMake.
The solution is to set the JAVA_HOME environment variable. Here's what I
have:
declare -x JAVA_HOME="/usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-amd64"
