Hi Krishna, The two errors that you've highlighted are actually just warnings that cmake provides. it then downloads copies of the required libraries, so you can ignore those.
The actual error in your build is this one: [ 24%] Building CXX object External/CoordGen/Wrap/CMakeFiles/rdCoordGen.dir/rdCoordGen.cpp.o /home/krishna/Coding/GitHub Projects/rdkit/External/CoordGen/Wrap/rdCoordGen.cpp:14:10: fatal error: numpy/arrayobject.h: No such file or directory #include <numpy/arrayobject.h> ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ compilation terminated. External/CoordGen/Wrap/CMakeFiles/rdCoordGen.dir/build.make:62: recipe for target 'External/CoordGen/Wrap/CMakeFiles/rdCoordGen.dir/rdCoordGen.cpp.o' failed make[2]: *** [External/CoordGen/Wrap/CMakeFiles/rdCoordGen.dir/rdCoordGen.cpp.o] Error 1 CMakeFiles/Makefile2:1369: recipe for target 'External/CoordGen/Wrap/CMakeFiles/rdCoordGen.dir/all' failed make[1]: *** [External/CoordGen/Wrap/CMakeFiles/rdCoordGen.dir/all] Error 2 Makefile:162: recipe for target 'all' failed make: *** [all] Error 2 Which has happened because you don't have numpy installed (or, if it's installed, the compiler can't find it). Please make sure you have numpy installed and then give it a try. -greg On Tue, Mar 5, 2019 at 5:35 PM Krishna Swaroop K < kkrishnaswaroo...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hello everyone! > As instructed, i have gone through the "building the > source" section in the installation documentation.
