Hello Peter, Quietside has developed a gas tankless water heater especially to use solar preheat. It condensing, 90% efficient, and uses a dual gas valve to achieve an amazing 6.7 to 1 modulation range. It uses PVC Flues, can be set up for propane or NG. We have been using Quietside products now for 5 years, and they have been very reliable. What I use for solar water heating is the TCT Progressive Tube solar water heater with the Quietside On Demand Water (ODW) 120, in the middle of their product range. Since we have started using the ODW we have no callbacks and no complaints. We also use the D'mand hot water circulation system to accelerate hot water to the back bathroom and save water. The three products work seamlessly together. cul deant Peter Parrish wrote:
