Jeff, I agree with your points certainly. As Rebecca Eaton had also pointed out however, it's really just a matter of time. Or timing. And patience on the part of all of us, early adopters that have gone the extra mile, and eager newcomers alike.

Phoenix, Orlando, and Houston are first up after SoCal and NorCal regions. - - - - - - - - - - Peter: The problem is, many of you are in California, most solar conferences are held in California, and most manufacturer solar training is in California. However, there still aer many of us in the fly-over states and on the east coast, but there is never any major solar programs on this side of the world. When I took the NABCEP test, I had to drive 2 states away, when we want to go to a solar conference, we have the cost and time of a 5 hour flight each way, and the expense of several days of hotel rooms, meals and rental car. I thought NABCEP was to be a "national" association, and as you pointed out, solar is going to explode and the industry will need hundreds of trained installers in every state, not just in California and Florida. NABCEP training and testing needs to be available in every state, and if this is not possible, then it needs to start offering this training and testing from these already established testing centers located in every city, like all the other national associations.
