Hi Dana, Good point. Solar thermal has been paying CALSEIA's bread and butter for many years. When PV got popular, PV manufacturers switched their support from CALSEIA to other orgs. Solar sounds better than PV anyway. As long as we are discussing a national org. that would better represent our interests. "SOLAR" I would like to suggest that combined solar organization that promotes both THERMAL & PV. The thermal on our home and office does more to reduce our bills than the 2 PV systems generate in saved utility costs. The inequality of the rebates and credits is such a waste of potential thermal applications. When asked to suggest and recommend in today's rebate and credit climate, PV wins hands down [45% to 60% rebate/credit in Colorado] and thermal looks like a joke. I hope we don't have to wait 'til oil and coal run out before we tackle that." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ List sponsored by Home Power magazine List Address: [email protected] Options & settings: http://lists.re-wrenches.org/options.cgi/re-wrenches-re-wrenches.org List-Archive: http://lists.re-wrenches.org/pipermail/re-wrenches-re-wrenches.org List rules & etiquette: www.re-wrenches.org/etiquette.htm Check out participant bios: www.members.re-wrenches.org
