Chris, We have one connected to the backup panel of a battery-based grid-tied system (Outback GVFX). It functioned well in testing with the grid shut off. The batteries were pretty full, so we didn¹t get to see much charging through the inverters, but the battery sensor did disconnect the turbine when the batteries were full. Been lucky so far with Skystream I guess...
