Chris, We use the Ilsco style lay in lugs and tap the extrusion on the bottom of the rail underneath the array support "lip". This area is just big enough to accommodate the lug. We use 1 inch stainless #10-32 with nuts and star washers to cut the anodization.

I was wondering if anyone has experience with grounding UniRac Sunframe rails. We use lugs on our panels and typically place lugs on the rail as well, attaching with a through bolt. We have also used a tap and a ground screw, but none of these methods feel as good as the methods we use for other racking systems. Any experience would be appreciated. We have installed these and are very happy with the performance. http://www.solacity.com/ Kind regards, Wilco Vercoelen Utopia, Ontario, Canada <http://www.dommelvalley.ca/> http://www.dommelvalley.ca Tel. 705-423-9699 Fax. 705-423-9880 Toll Free 1-877-889-7657 This e-mail message is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and is confidential, subject to copyright and may be legally privileged. His average annual wind speed is 6.9 m/s. He will arrange for the tower and installation. It looks like there are many wind turbine companies cropping up so I would like some advice and/or recommendations from the air wrenches on the board.
