Dana, I'm hoping that there is a ready-made, dark metal option for 1-1/4" posts. BTW, these flashings will be for a composition roof. There are dark boot options available for metal roofs.
It will likely be less expensive to paint bright flashings dark rather than have dark ones custom made.
