I use HUP Solar One batteries 98% of the time , they are banks of 2 volt cells in a 12 volt cans. I have banks that are16 years old now and I would like to test individual cells.

It takes 6 hours and a hand unit can't do it. You could try it with a clamp on meter and any variable load that sucks up 2 volts. Do you only have to test a single cell?
