We looked at these when they first came out but have concerns about "settling" or "crushing" the raised metal roofing. I am sure this is less a problem if there is pre-formed insulation below, but we have seen other attempts to put roof attachment on the high "humps" of the roofing and if you tighten down enough to make a good seal and stop any vertical movement, you tend to compress the roofing. We really like the S-5! clamps for standing seam roofs, but so far we still mount attachment feet or posts over the flat surface areas between the raised crimps. We are however still looking for a really good solution for pre-fab metal roofing.
