Thanks for the response. What I am seeing is the price is comparable to a
string inverter. Very attractive if that holds true.
Would like to pull the trigger on using one, but....well, we all know......

Holt,
I haven't used these yet but I've been following DC MPPT products for a
while just to see where things are going. They appear to offer similar
benefits as the microinverter products such as reduced shading and
orientation concerns and individual module level remote monitoring.
Here are a couple of other similar type products:

It's also interesting to hear that they might be integrating these into
modules.
