August,
Opinion: if a customer can afford GTWB, which is more expensive by its nature, the customer can afford an $850 enclosure....
and inspectors like them.
I have had only success with Concorde SunXtender.

Hi Wrenches -

We're seeing more and more interest in grid tied battery backup systems in the Bay Area. Anyway, I'm finding that off the shelf battery boxes are quite expensive - the products from MidNite Solar, DPW, etc are all really nice but super pricey.

Any recommendations on battery boxes? We've been using L16 AGM batteries but we might be going to a different size and shape. Any recommendations on favorite batteries is also appreciated.

I hope you're all enjoying solar high season!

Best,

August
