Jay, In the old days it could cause a failure with the MX-60's. Now it just throws the MPPT on the second controller way off, it can be done but you aren't going to see much gain from the second controller. I would suggest not to do it.
The Diode's isn't going to solve the MPPT problem. Steve Higgins Sr Application Engineering Mgr Sub-Saharan Africa Business Dev Mgr. I have a unique situation that would be very expensive to pull additional wire however the existing wire is large enough to need 2 fm-60s' If I put a diode between them so they don't feed each other any problems that anyone knows of? thanks, jay peltz power _______________________________________________ List sponsored by Home Power magazine List Address: RE-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org Options & settings: http://lists.re-wrenches.org/options.cgi/re-wrenches-re-wrenches.org List-Archive: http://lists.re-wrenches.org/pipermail/re-wrenches-re-wrenches.org List rules & etiquette: www.re-wrenches.org/etiquette.htm Check out participant bios: www.members.re-wrenches.org MESSAGE CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This message (including attachments) is covered by the Electronic Communication Privacy Act, 18 U.S.C. sections 2510-2521, is confidential, and may also be protected by attorney-client or other privilege.
