Bob,
We have had fully satisfactory experience with the EF3000iSE, the 4500iSE and the 6300iSE, but not this unit.

Does anyone have any experience with this generator for a back up for charging when all else fails?

EF2400iS-HC

Yamaha 2400watt Inverter Generator.

The EF2400iS-HC will not run most rv a/c units, and it does not have the 30 amp receptacle to tie into a rv. It will run up to a 10,000 btu a/c.

Weighing only 70 pounds and with a run time of over 8.5 hours at 1/4-capacity, the EF2400iS is the next step forward in generator technology.

Sound Rating = 53-58dBA

Thanks,

Bob Ellison
