Friends:
A client procured some older Solar World SW175 modules that were never
installed. He wanted more so my vendor found that Solar World had some in
stock (even though the module was discontinued). We were told the module
were identical.
Turns out the old modules had MC connectors and the new had Tyco. We
assumed the polarity would be the same (the male MC would be the same
polarity as the male Tyco).
Turns out this is not the case. Anyone else discover this?
William
PS: The module thickness was also different by 3/16 of an inch. This
meant our end clips did not fit -- big bummer.

PPS: Manufacturers: Please try to standardize!
