FYI, I am talking about a sealed AGM battery leaking acid and corroding terminals, especially from the negative post, in either a vertical or horizontal arrangement. When mounted in the horizontal, acid leaks out onto to shelf surface. Not much, mind you, but enough to corrode terminals and make a mess... For an AGM battery, I think too much.
