Yes. Just finished doing a 30 KW SnapNRack ground mount system on land that
was far from graded with a DeWalt unit. Mine was a borrowed unit and was a
bubble leveled model but the new model - DW074D - is self leveling. The
laser with a battery powered target is a life saver. String is fine
for alignment but useless for setting a level over a real distance. Do get
the laser target, you won't see the light outdoors during sunlit days. The
Dewalt tripod is also a good buy.
Our 70' rows are exactly level, you can sight along the modules with no
undulation.

Mine ran off 3 x D cells, and they lasted for days. We set the laser up
every day, leveled it off the benchmark and left it running all the time.
The bump sensor was too sensitive for outdoor use.
