The SMA SB1800 of old was 120 VAC output, but I don't know if it's still manufactured.

Microinverters may be the only choice unless they want battery backup.  The SMA 700 has 120 VAC output, but it will not string size to 60 cell modules.

Subject: [RE-wrenches] 120V grid tie inverter recommendation

Hello Wrenches,

We are looking at a job where we need to install a number of small 2K PV systems where we only have 120V AC available.  Is there a good choice for a small grid tie AC inverter in this voltage and power range?

With Regards
