What failed on the sw? If the control board is okay you can get the Mc
version and swap the control card to convert the Mc version to the normal
version.

Lee:

I have been installing and repairing SW inverters for decades but I admit
complete ignorance, until now, of the MC version units. In case you need
resources, below are some:

 discussion on the differences:

The MC stands for Motor Coach. One would think that these units have bond
switching, but surprisingly, they don't.

The units I was offered are older units and are very likely not MC2 units.

I don't know if gen support exists on MC2 units. I am sorry, I know that is
your original question. I am ccing this to Re-wrenches since the links may be
valuable to someone.

Hi William.
Thanks. I can get them on eBay but they are all used, except the
SW4024MC2. Do you know if he was offering the SW4024 or was it the SW4024MC2?
Better yet, any idea how to find out if the SW4024MC2 has generator support,
even though it does not have SELL mode?

 Thanks.
