My experience is that this works fine. We have published a basic document on this, which is primarily focused on the major pitfalls;- Protect the batteries from overcharging- Don't exceed the pass through limit of the GVFX inverter- Don't allow the Enphase microinverters to connect directly to the output of a generator With the Outback GVFX inverters, I would recommend using the auxiliary relay of the Outback inverter to shut-off the microinverters with a relay when the batteries are charged.
