Wrenches, We’d like to land a ground mounted PV system at a meter pedestal to avoid trenching back to the house. Establishing the PV system as a parallel service, we could drive a ground rod at the pedestal and land GEC at PV disconnect.
This brings up the auxiliary grounding issue discussed by Mike Holt in his 2014 code video.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuDqXFvRv94.
