I was unaware that Magnum made an inverter that could work in grid interactive mode, as the SW could?

You can have one for grid, one for gen backup. XW's are native 120/240 but you can field adapt to 120V if it's easier to wire in with existing wiring. If site has any surplus power has capability to synch with grid and back feed. Could do the same thing with an SW or Magnum with single AC input and external transfer but not as elegant and simple. I'd not recommend the new SW inverter. The home was off grid for years and now is operated primarily with the grid being used as to charge the batteries when the solar is deficient. There is a generator on site to back up the grid also. Utility grid is also used for some primary loads in the neighborhood (maple syrup production), but that is a separate system from the Trace. The inverter system is a relatively simple 120VAC deal (one inverter). I have not had my hands on the new Schneider inverters. Are they the best swap in for this home? - Relative time saving ease for the AC and DC wiring is fairly important, but not the only consideration.
