Hi Wrenchers,
I have a client that has an aging electric grid with in their group of 32
buildings. The Electric service for this complex all comes into one
building which has switch gear that feeds all of the buildings in the complex.
The feeders were megger tested with varying results. Some were in such
poor condition that the megger test could not be completed. The client has
agreed to replace the feeders over time and I am trying to specify a minimum
requirement for the quality of the feeders in order for the Solar Inverters to
perform as expected. I am looking for a spec that defines a minimum megger
reading for feeders or some other way of defining the required quality.

I appreciate any and all thoughts on this.
