This is for an existing system. They are wanting to install the outback product
on FXs installed with E panels
They currently have Midnite arrestors. I know!

H Jeremy,

It has been years since I used Outback's Arrestors (I switched to Midnite's so
I'm not sure if Outback's design has changed since then), but yes that is how
it worked on an E-panel. However, I think Midnite has stopped making the
Epanel for the FX (FXR), although maybe you can find one in stock at a
supplier. Might be worth a call to Midnite...

Wrenches,
Has anyone installed one of the outback Lightning protection devices designed
to fit inside the AC conduit box of an FX inverter, with the FX mounted to an E
panel?
Just looking at some pictures it appears that it may work by re locating the
flex conduits coming from the E panel, to the sides of the OB ACA vs. where
they originally land.
Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated!
