HI Drake;

My old Fluke clamp on died last year, and some good Wrench here turned me on to the Seaward solar power clamp. It does everything the Fluke did, and offers some amazing power analysis too. It can do real time power readings that even account for power factor. It can break out THD into the separate harmonics, its got CAT III rating at 1000 v. Downside is it can be clunky to navigate, but its doing so much that some complications would be expected.

Hi Drake,

You might look at the fluke connect series. Pretty interesting what they can do.

Hello Wrenches,

My old Fluke 337 is working intermittently, and it needs to be replaced. (An intermittently working meter seems like a deadly thing to keep around).

It looks like the 337 was replaced by a 337A (now discontinued) which in turn was replaced by a Fluke 376. I am still able to find a 337 to buy. Is there any reason to get the 376 instead?

Thanks,

Drake
