I'd add at least a small amount of DC coupled charging so that if the
main AC trips off for any reason, the batteries will still get a charge.
I've done a few SMA setups and having an heavy AC load or low battery
situation shut down all battery charging is a serious problem with AC
coupled setups. Sorry I don't have a Webbox.

Hi Folks,
Well I've designed and sold an 18 KW Sunny Island / Sunny Boy system
for the Carribean but SMA informs me that they have nothing to replace
the discontinued Sunny Webbox for another several months.
I can't simply tell my customer - "oh by the way - you know that
cadillac system I sold you and am installing in June? oh the
manufacturer has no monitoring solution for you"! Especially after
repeating over and over again the most important part of any off-grid
system is the battery % gauge in the kitchen!!!
So if anyone has a SUNNY WEBBOX out there - or knows where I can get
one. Please contact me OFFLIST.
Thanks so!
Best
Jeff
