Ooh, I know, put a small PV module in the window and power the fan from it.. It 
will blow when irradiance is high, and not at night, lol

Put a low voltage timer on the fan that is only allows it to be on during
the prime Solar hours of solar production and designed hours of heavy draws
by the Inverter . Obviously off at night when people are sleeping  and
times when no one is at home either in the early morning or late afternoon.
