Hi Jay, Years ago I had one Sunny Boy system needing looking at string to string, and covered them with multiple layers of blankets and tarps, only to get one heck of a jolt... short of a good primer paint and barbeque black top coat, I'll not waste the time, and know they are always treated as hot wires.
