Hi Jay,

Check out the WHO approved SunDanzer direct drive vaccine efrigerator. No 
batteries with a 2°C phase change material freezing point so you never can 
freeze the vaccine. The thermal storage PCM in the walls is good for about a 
week of cold under hot ambient conditions. I had an early direct drive 
prototype I let run for 10 years at NMSU with no issues before I returned the 
unit to the manufacturer. This approach revolutionized solar vaccine 
refrigeration.
