Greg here from SnapNrack - we don't provide any specific support for using
SnapNrack rails with the EZ-Foot product but if I were using it, it looks like
the leveling slot would mate up to the rails ok. I'd use our MLPE Mounting
Kits with the thick washers to ensure you don't crush the sheetmetal of the
EZ-Foot into the rail channel. Or, if you can get the new Ultra Rail, it
probably bolts right up to it and you wouldn't need those washers, although I'd
still use them to stiffen up up the attachment.
We've done a ton of testing of deck mounting in recent years, it's a funky
space. You should definitely plan to shorten up your spans/use more mounts
than you would if you were hitting rafters -

William,
For metal roof scenarios where rafter finding isn't an option we use EZ Feet
and then attach SnapNrack rails to them. It's a very good solution just be
sure to note how much of the vertical portion of the EZ Foot interfaces with
the rail. You can't pull the rail up to the top of the foot completely. This
is hard to explain but easy to see once installing.
